Cara for Topshop!

Ladies, start saving now. Live on a diet of tea and toast and do not spend any unnecessary cash until you read this.

To dramatic? I think not.

When I heard Cara Delevigne would be the new cover girl/designer of her range for A/W Topshop a part of me thought 'yawn, another collection of boring typical clothes completely out of budget'. How wrong I was... This collection exudes Cara's cool trendy style and there is something to suit everyone. The price tag isn't too crazy either not all details have been revealed but you'd pick up a really cool piece for under €100. I want EVERYTHING in the range especially the black suit, dress & black pointy boots! The collection is launching in August you'll be the first to know when the date has been released! Will you be splashing out?

Isn't it amazing??

Summer Wishlist Vol.1

Ok, so, I know it doesn't seem like it looking outside today, but summer is officially here. This means a few things: denim shorts in abundance, flower crowns, cold drinks, music festivals (ahhhhh), and of course impending debt due to all of these things plus all of the amazing clothes in shops and online at the moment! You probably know by now that I like shopping, (never) as does every girl in the entire world. Every year I do the exact same thing: I trawl sites and shops to find the perfect summer pieces which I will wear on my days off to become a summer flower child goddess; ,my day off arrives it's pouring rain and I'm too hungover to get out of my pjs. However this will not stop me doing the EXACT same thing this year. The shops are stocked with beautiful pieces to fill our lives with both happiness and poverty in equal measure. I have chosen a few things which I have my eye on at the moment, it's only a couple of things so don't be too afraid....

There are a few items I'll be wearing this summer:

- A pair of Statement Shorts- I think these will replace the skirt & the million versions of last summer's 'skort' to lead the way for the ultimate summer staple. Throw on a white tshirt, or shirt, or even
a loose jumper for cooler evenings.

- A very bright pair of court shoes- like the beautiful pink ones featured below from Topshop, enough to brighten up any outfit!

-A white blazer- the summer version of the black blazer, it goes with EVERYTHING.

-The Perfect summer Dress- the age old quest. I am loving this Warehouse one though!

-The Printed Pants- when I'm too lazy to tan or shave my legs to wear shorts I'll be wearing the statement trousers instead! I'll be pairing mine with a matching blazer, or failing that a clashing top like the one featured below!

-Jelly Sandals- these divide opinions, which is what fashion is all about. I've picked mine up and I LOVE them! I got the baby pink Juju Babies shown below!

Shop the looks now!

4: Zara White Blazer-

As always thank you for reading....

Until next time,

Going green...

Hello! I am composing this in the height of style wearing zebra print pj bottoms & an old knitted jumper, with no make up & messy flat hair- I thought I'd spare you the pictures! So, last night we had a lovely staff night for a colleague of ours who is leaving our team after getting another job, a great night but sad all the same! I'll miss you Aine, but can't wait for our night out in Westport to find husbands! :p ANYWAY I wore a playsuit from Topshop which I am IN LOVE with. The texture, the colour & style are what drew me to it the day I bought it. I was lucky enough to get it on sale for only €35 and in my size! It's quite stiff satin & the neck is quite high, it's different to anything I own and I loved wearing it so much! I paired it with a gorgeous blazer I snapped up at Christmas in the River Island Sale for half price. Shoes are the Topshop ones I've worn practically every night since buying them, I just love them so much and they're so comfortable! The bag is a big favourite of mine, it was kindly given to me by one of my style icons-my mum- she bought it in Gerry McGuire's (see where I get it from?) 20years ago it still looks good as new! Ok, enough of me talking here are some pics....

I also dyed my extensions & cut them to give my hair a little length & volume-I loved how it turned out! I feel so much more me with longer hair! :(

Any questions or comments just comment underneath, or send any queries to elishapolly@gmail.com I'd love to hear feedback! Or if you just want to tell me to shut up, that's cool too. Happy Sunday from a very weary Elisha,

Peace outttt

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

Hello all!

I write this post from my very warm bed as I listen to the rain pounding against my window and dread the thought of getting dressed and facing another day in horrible January. It's so annoying, we count down Christmas for months, everything we do after Halloween is in one way or another to prepare for the festive season. Eating a little healthier to fit into the 'party dress', looking out for the perfect presents for friends and family, trawling shops and the Internet for the perfect 'Christmas Day' outfit, and the dress to silence all others, the New Years Eve dress. For me, it was no different. I love Christmas. I love counting down the days as early as September. It only comes once a year and you have to make the most of it! This Christmas was a little different to others I have previously celebrated; they usually consist of plenty of nights out followed by long and painful hangovers; this year, however, I didn't go out much at all. I spent most of the Christmas indoors in my pjs watching movies with my mum and sisters and I wouldn't change it in a heartbeat! I did however manage to squeeze in a few outfits which I am about to show you here!
Christmas Day:
Top & Skirt both River Island
Jacket Miss Selfridge (old stock)

St Stephen's Day

Dress ASOS
Headband and accessories Dorothy Perkins
Shoes Topshop

A bit obsessed with these shoes....

Sorry, I know my legs/feet look rotten here!

Night after Stephen's Night:

I love this outfit. I really had no idea what I was going to wear and this was literally chosen very randomly in about 10 minutes!
Shorts: River Island
Shoes Topshop
Black cami Penneys
Black beaded cardigan  Guna Nua Ballina
Necklace eBay

I think this is my favorite purchase over christmas. I have been looking for a black fur coat for years that was both affordable and good quality. I spotted this one in Choice in Shaws and fell in love with it. I waited to see if it would go on se and it didn't but I loved it so much that i bought it anyway! They could still have some in there, €60. I love the bomber style of it!

Saturday Dec 27th

I was extremely hungover taking these pictures..

This is the outfit I wore to my baby cousin Sadhbh's christening. As you probably know by now I am somewhat obsessed with Carrie Bradshaw so when I spotted this tulle skirt on eBay I fell in love! It took about two months to arrive but when it did I was delighted with the quality!
I paired it with a H&m top Topshop heels again, and a sequin clutch from Penneys.

And to add even more drama to the outfit I wore my longtime favorite fur jacket! We had such a great day, and Sadhbh looked so cute in her dress! Thank you so much Bec and James! :)

After that I stayed quiet enough until NYE. I had planned on wearing a totally different outfit but after a week of non stop eating the dress wasn't a nice fit on me and I wasn't prepared to out down the Pringles until January. So I pulled out one of my favorite party dresses I got on ASOS two years ago. It's so girly and fun I love wearing it so much! I wore two tulle mini skirts under it to make it more puffy and off I went!

We had such a great night in with the girls, it was the best New Years I've had in a long time!

So that's it, all of my Christmas outfits in one very drawn out, long winded post!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and I hope all of your hopes and dreams come true in 2014! Thank you so so much for all of your support up to this point. X

My Weekend adventures...

I went to Dublin at the weekend with my lil bro to the MS MR concert in the Academy is was AMAZING. I only heard them for the first time on BBCRadio 1 in the summer and downloaded their album and quickly fell in love.. They are the coolest couple EVER. So, we made a weekend of it and went to Dundrum for a bit of Chrisrmas Shopping. I went with a few things in my head that I wanted to buy, the River Island three piece being one!

But first my outfit I wore going shopping..

This is a jumper I ordered off the Chinese Site Romwe. I love this site so much, the clothes are excellent quality great value and you are sure to get very cool one-off pieces from them. When I spotted this jumper I just had to have it. It took about four weeks to arrive, and when it did I nearly knocked the postman over I couldn't contain my excitement! It was exactly as I imagined it, perfect fit, amazing design I was so excited to wear it! I thought a bit about how I would style it, it's quite loud and because I was oh going shopping I thought I'd keep it simple enough with a pair of jeans (from Penneys), a white shirt buttoned up ( also Penneys), a pastel flower chain (Dorothy Perkins), and of course my cream brogues. I got a lot of strange looks walking down Grafton Street but I didn't give a shite because I love the jumper so much.

Here's the link for it, it's quite low in stock so is get it quick! And it's also half price!

click me to buy

I got mine in a small, so it would be about a size 8-10, it was a very comfy fir and I also had a wool jumper underneath and there was plenty of room!
If I'm wearing this again going it for dinner or drinks, Im going to pair it with a knee length tutu and my Perspex heels to make it a bit more dressy. I'm dying to style it lots of different ways! :)

The second outfit was the one I actually wore to the concert, this was a wool-like polo neck black Topshop dress, black open toe ankle boots (penneys), my black Missguided Kimono, and my Rock n Rose Floral crown, I also picked up this gorgeous necklace in Penneys in Dublin I love it!

Link for Kimono from Missguided here:

The next day I was shattered so I'm not even going to tell you what I wore. I'm ashamed of myself to be honest!
My favourite purchases of the weekend were:

I'm soo smug in this picture..
All River Island, top, skirt and shorts.. I know everyone and their nan has this now but I don't care we'll all be fabulous twins together!

Here are the links if you want to join the floral party: twins unite!

But as I said in the previous post it is actually €5 cheaper on ASOS..
